Lovely cosy cottage, very comfortable & warm! Great views, brilliant cycling & we’d love to come back – please!

Gerry & David, East Sussex

A very cosy cottage – well equipped – a lot of thought into what might be needed. Had a great week – fabulous walks. Really enjoyed the views from the cottage. Many thanks. Lovely to have fresh flowers.

Location, location, location with interior to match. Website gave an accurate description.

Bijoux cottage in a spellbinding location – the views are mesmerising.

Everything has been thought of by the owners Chris and Sue from the well-equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches such as welcome biscuits and a personalised note of welcome. They also provide a folder with walks, books and maps of the Peak District and a book for guests to recommend walks, trips and restaurants. The location is great as it is close to everywhere and the village has 2 pubs and a well-stocked shop. You can just ramble off for a good walk from the cottage. We really enjoyed a local walk through bluebell woods and hardly bumped into anyone else. Our expectations were exceeded and we definitely will be back.
